Chamomile flowers are considered to be an excellent hair bleaching agent. You can boil half a cup of chamomile flowers in 1 cup of water so as to extract its essence. After about 30 minutes, strain the water and allow it to cool. Rinse you already washed and towel dried hair with this solution many times.

Wash your hair after half an hour. Repeat this process 2 to 3 times a week, until you achieve your desired hair color.

Lemon is supposed to have natural lightening properties. You can lighten your hair by washing your hair daily with a solution of lemon juice and water. For better results it is advised that your expose your hair treated with lemon juice to the sun for some time.

After 3 to 4 hours, wash off with a shampoo and condition your hair as usual. Repeating this process daily will help in lightening your hair naturally.

In another method you can mix and apply 4 tablespoons of cinnamon powder, 1 cup honey, 1 cup water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to your hair. The hydrogen peroxide present in honey and cinnamon brings about the natural lightening of your hair. The olive oil ensures that your hair is moisturized and protected throughout.

Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave on the mixture for about 4 hours. You will get better results if you leave on the mixture for longer periods of time. Finally wash off the mixture and shampoo and condition your hair.

Do not resort to these treatments if your hair is already colored using chemicals, as it may yield disastrous results for your hair. Wait for your artificial hair color to fade off completely before you try lightening your hair naturally.
