Try our orange and ginger facial mask recipe for tired, stressed or acne prone skin.

Orange and Ginger Facial Mask 

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 of an orange (juice) – about 1 tablespoon
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of grated ginger root
  • 1 tablespoon of orange yogurt

Directions:

Squeeze the juice from the orange, should be about 1 tablespoon, add in the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly. This facial is very liquidy so apply a thin layer on your face and neck. Keep the facial on for 10 minutes. You will feel a slightly warming from the ginger. (Feels really nice on the skin.) Rinse off with warm water then pat skin dry with a clean towel.

Duration: 2x a week.

  1. Yogurt Mask – Putting yogurt on your face for 20 minutes makes your skin whiter than before and makes your face soft and smooth. You have to put it on your neck too. Try it.

    1. Thank you for sharing your experience with using a yogurt mask on your face! It sounds like a great homemade remedy for achieving a whiter and smoother complexion. Including the neck is also a good tip as it ensures a more even and consistent result. I’ll definitely give it a try and see if it works for me too!
