This is a great recipe, because it combines tons of different ingredients that mix together so well into a great party dip.

You will need:

  • 3 plum tomatoes
  • 1 slice of onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 Serrano chilies
  • 12 cilantro leaves
  • 3 large mint leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

For this more complicated salsa recipe, you need to toast the tomatoes, onion, garlic, and cumin seeds. Other than that, you need to chop everything up, not too finely, but to a dip consistency. Put the ingredients into a food processor and let this mixture sit in the refrigerator for two days.

Fiery Salsa Recipe

This is an extra spicy recipe, so beware.

You will need:

  • 1 large onion
  • 8 tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 10 jalapeno peppers
  • 1 lime
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 tsp oregano

Directions:

Chop and dice all of the ingredients and mix well. Leave this salsa in the refrigerator over night and sever cold.

Pickled Ginger Salsa Recipe

Yes, this sounds like an interesting salsa, and it truly is.

You need:

  • 9 bell peppers (three red, six green)
  • 2 onions
  • 1 cup of water,
  • 6 Anaheim green chilies
  • 1 cup of white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup of ginger root
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ground allspice

Directions:

Mix ingredients together and make sure to put the leftovers in the refrigerator, because it will not keep.
