Do-It-Yourself Hair Masks to Keep Your Hair Healthy

Well ladies, I got the top DIY hair masks that really work to eliminate frizz and will leave your hair beautiful looking at all times! The best part? The ingredients can probably be found right in your kitchen, which makes things even better!

Avocado & Honey

This is one of the DIY hair masks that is not only super easy, but who doesn’t have avocado and honey right now in their pantry? The reason these two ingredients go so well together is because avocado is rich in a ton of vitamins that nutrients that you need to keep your hair soft and shiny! The honey? It’s a natural antibacterial agent! So, how do you do this? Well, mix about a tablespoon of organic honey with a ripened avocado. Put it on your hair, let sit for about 20 minutes and then you can rinse it out! You should do this about once a week.

Egg Whites

Girlfriends! This one is so, so easy! All you need are some amazing egg whites and maybe a little bit of olive oil if you’ve got hair that is brittle and dry. All you need to do is whisk together about 3 tablespoons of olive oil, egg whites from two eggs and put on your hair! Allow this to sit in your hair for about 20 minutes, rinse out and you’ll see quite a difference in how your hair looks! It should be super shiny, totally manageable and oh-so-soft!

Banana, Honey & Almond

Now, this is mixture that you can use if you happen to have a dry scalp that flakes a little bit. All you need is half of a ripe banana, two tablespoons of honey, a few drops of almond oil and put it on your head. You’ll need a shower cap for this one girlfriends, so keep that in mind! Put your shower cap on for about 20 minutes, rinse and you should start to see your scalp less flaky and less itchy! This mixture will also smooth down your hair and make it super shiny and soft!

Coconut Milk, Olive Oil & Avocado

All right ladies, finally, the last and best DIY hair mask is all about coconut milk, which smells amazing! All you need is a half a can of coconut milk, one ripe avocado and then two tablespoons of olive oil. Coat your hair with the mixture after you’ve mixed it up really well, use your shower cap again to lock everything in and then leave it on for 20 minutes. You need to do this mask about once a week in order to really get the full effect!
