There are many cosmetic treatments and surgeries to get rid of warts. But you can also resort to using some natural remedies to deal with this problem.

A natural product which has been used for ages in the treatment of warts is garlic. Crush 2 to 3 slices of garlic and add a drop of lemon oil to it. Apply this on to the warts and leave it on for 3 to 4 hours.

The antiviral properties of garlic will help in eliminating the microbes while the lightening action of lemon will take care of any skin discolorations caused by warts.

You can also make a paste of baking soda and water. Apply this paste onto the affected areas and leave it to dry naturally. Repetition of this process daily will help in the removal of warts.

In another method you can place cotton balls soaked in vinegar in the wart affected areas. Fix the cotton balls in place by covering them up with a band aid. You can do this at night before you go to bed and then remove the band aid and cotton in the morning.

Continuous repetition of this process will first make the warts to turn dark. The warts will then dry, wrinkle and contract naturally. You can vary this treatment by using pineapple juice instead of vinegar.

Rubbing a slice of onion on the warts is also seen helpful in their removal. Aloe vera gel rubbed on warts will help to get rid of them effectively.

Essential oils like tea tree oil are seen very effective in treating warts. Apply undiluted tea tree oil on your warts 2 to 3 times a day. If the undiluted oil causes any skin irritation, then you can dilute it by mixing the oil with equal quantities of water or Aloe vera gel and then apply it on to the warts.

Finally, take care to keep the wart affected areas clean and dry always. You can scrub your warts with a loofah every time you shower, and then dry them up completely with a towel.

Try out these natural remedies, and you are sure to get relief from the annoying problem of warts.

Garlic is the best remedy for curing warts. Banana peel works too but garlic is the best. By the way thanks for sharing this!
