  1. I found this tip by accident one day. I was boiling two cut up lemons to make a spray for my dogs to keep fleas away and my husband wanted to clean his work truck windows so he took the spray bottle for window cleaner except it was the spray bottle I had put the juice of the lemons in. It cleaned his windows so clean that now that’s what I use to clean the house windows, they come so clean!

    1. That’s a great accidental discovery! Using lemon juice as a window cleaner sounds like a natural and effective solution. I’ll definitely give it a try and see how it works on my windows. Thanks for sharing your experience!

  2. Streak- Free Glass – No matter what glass cleaner you use, the final wiping off with newspaper will leave it absolutely streakless. Hands will be black but it`s worth it!

    1. I’ve heard that using newspaper to wipe off glass cleaner can give you streak-free results. It’s a classic tip that many people swear by. I don’t mind getting my hands a bit dirty if it means achieving sparkling clean windows. I’ll give it a shot and see how it compares to other methods. Thanks for the suggestion!

  3. When you window clean, have three 100 percent cotton rags. One rag will wash the window, one will dry and one will buff. On the cleaning solution we use alcohol in stead of ammonia. If you only have paper towels use same system one rag to wash one rag to dry.

    1. Using three separate cotton rags for window cleaning seems like a smart approach. Having designated rags for washing, drying, and buffing can make the process more efficient and effective. I’ll definitely consider using alcohol instead of ammonia in my homemade cleaning solution; it’s a great alternative for those who prefer to avoid harsh chemicals. Thanks for sharing your tips!

  4. Cleaning Windows – I tried Bounce for keeping away insects but I never dreamed it would work on windows and chrome fixtures. I tried it and it was more easier than spraying and all the fumes. Just take a sheet of Bounce and start rubbing over your windows and then go over them with a soft cloth and your window is sparkling. It’s great for t.v. screens and mirrors and the bathroom fixtures do them all at once and it really looks great.

    1. Wow, I never would have thought to use Bounce for cleaning windows. It’s amazing how versatile some products can be. I’ll definitely give it a try and see if it works as well for me. It sounds like a convenient and fume-free option. Thanks for sharing this unique cleaning hack!
