How to Cleanse Your Body in Two Days

If you feel tired and overloaded, then treat yourself with a cleansing diet directly at the next weekend. The cleansing diet will help your body to detox and to relax.

Before you start, buy your favorite vegetables, fruits and mineral water. Buy a healthy carrot – or any vegetable - juice, provide yourself with herbal teas - mint and chamomile are just perfect.

Like any short diet, a cleansing diet has its own rules:
- Do not plan anything that requires much effort at this time.
- Drink about a liter of mineral or filtered water a day – that is about 8 cups.
- If you're not sure, as in the case of any other diet, consult your doctor.

Day One
BREAKFAST:
Start your day with a juicy fruit salad. Choose citrus fruits – a grapefruit, an orange or a tangerine, plus some slices of a pineapple, some crunchy slices of an apple, and some grapes.
What to drink: Replace an ordinary tea and coffee for herbal tea or mineral water. If you can not imagine a morning without a cup of tea - make a tea with lemon, but no milk!

SECOND BREAKFAST:
Take a half of a small melon, clean out the seeds and fill it with fruit salad - again, choose citruses and something special like kiwi, fresh figs and grapes. Remind yourself that it's only for one day!
What to drink: herbal teas and plenty of mineral water.

LUNCH:
Same for a second breakfast, but vary fruit salad to make it more attractive.

BEDTIME:
Many people will find that falling asleep after such a fruit day is very hard, because you almost feel how your digestive system works. Eat a banana before going to bed, and drink a cup of calming chamomile infusion - it will help you relax.

Day Two
BREAKFAST:
Fill a glass with carrot juice or other vegetable juice; season it with salt and black pepper. Bake 4 large tomatoes on a grill, season them with salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs, for instance, basil will be fine.
What to drink: herbal tea.

SECOND BREAKFAST:
A large portion of salad made of your favorite vegetables. Start with a crisp green salad; cut some cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, green onions, celery, green beans, and red or yellow peppers for flavor and color. Season the salad with salt, black pepper and lemon juice or aromatic vinegar, if you want.
What to drink: herbal teas and mineral water.

LUNCH:
Lightly steam broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, spinach or cabbage; season with just salt and pepper. If you really want some bright flavor, sprinkle a little parmesan cheese.
What to drink: herbal teas and plenty of mineral water or vegetable juice, as for breakfast.

DAYTIME:
Take one vitamin C pill at breakfast, and drink as much herbal tea and mineral water as you want.
