  3. I know there are several variety of junipers each with their own distinct berries. The picture of the specimen above this article is the variety that I have. The berries are large, green and somewhat irregular shaped. The shrub is about 6′ tall and cone shaped. What is the scientific name of this variety, and are the berries as useful/edible as the other varieties which have smaller, rounder and darker berries? Thank you.
