This type of allergic reaction might include trouble breathing, wheezing, and breaking out in cold sweats as well. Some have even experienced tightness in the chest and feel as though their throat is swelling which is scary!
These reactions can grow into something very serious, including anaphylactic shock, in which convulsions may occur in addition to trouble breathing and tightness in the chest.
Those who experience these types of reactions should go to an emergency room right away and cease from using the bee pollen.
It’s important to let you know that I am personally not a doctor, and I don’t claim to be, but I can tell you what I did to manage adding bee pollen into my life.
This may not work for everyone, but I truly believe in the power of natural supplementation and good nutrition.
The end result is that you have to decide for yourself what you wish to do, and you must talk with your doctor before taking anything new.
Those individuals who are taking medications or using insulin should always be cautious because there isn’t a lot of research right now relating to the use of prescription medications and the simultaneous use of bee pollen.

Those who have no idea as to whether or not they are allergic to bee pollen should most definitely try taking it in small doses at first. The granules are considered to be the most potent form of bee pollen available, and it is recommended that you put just a few under the tongue in order to see how you are affected.
Typically, it is recommended to put just three granules under the tongue two to three times per day, and then if there is no reaction the dosage can be increased.
Eventually, those who use this method should be able to take up to a teaspoon full per day with no problem.
