Facial Deep Cleansing at Home

Facial Deep Cleansing at Home

Facial skin is especially susceptible to accumulating dead skin and impurities that regular cleansing may not remove, every day dirt and grime can become deeply embedded on to the skin blocking pores that prevent the skin from feeling and looking its best.

When we feel the need for a deep cleansing facial, most of us automatically head for the beauty salon, and although nothing can beat a good facial done by a skilled therapist, it is possible to achieve very good results by deep cleansing at home.

Regular deep cleansing of the skin is essential in keeping the complexion healthy and fresh. Deep cleansing salon facials are great at detoxing and purifying stressed and congested skin, but they can be expensive.

Facial masks are a very effective, quick and economical way of rejuvenating and reviving a stressed complexion in the privacy of your own home. Clay based masks are excellent at drawing out toxins and helping to shrink pores. There is a huge variety of clay based face masks available on the market but homemade face masks can be just as effective and offer a healthier alternative to shop bought ones. But there are a few steps that should be followed for them to be effective.

STEP 1:
Cleanse thoroughly.

STEP 2:
Exfoliate with a gentle exfoliator.

STEP 3:
Apply your mask.

STEP 4:
Moisturize.
