Bruises – Bloating – Stretch Marks – Homemade Remedies

To Relieve Bloating

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup boiled water
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

Combine ingredients and drink while still warm. You can sweeten with a little honey.

Healing Bruises

Ingredients:

  • 3 teaspoons of dried Marigold flowers (Calendula officinalis)
  • 1 cup boiled water

Directions:

Allow the flower heads to steep in the hot water for 5 minutes. Strain. Allow to cool. Wipe the bruised area with the decoction, then cover with a bandage.

Bruises

Gently wipe the bruised area with rubbing alcohol. (Works well with small bruises).

Minor Burns

1) To help prevent scarring, break open a vitamin E capsule and gently wipe the burn with it.

2) The gel from the Aloe Vera plant when placed on a burn will speed up the healing process and help reduce scarring.

Stretch Marks

Caused from pregnancy, rapid weight loss and even growth spurts. No cream in the world will completely eliminate stretch marks, only fade them which helps quite a bit. Stretch marks do fade in time on their own.

One recommended way to reduce the appearance of stretch marks is to lift weights, it will help to tighten the surrounding skin making it appear smoother.
