Get a Gorgeous Glow with a Pumpkin Facial
Why wait for autumn to roll around before getting the pumpkins out, when we can enjoy its health benefits today? In fact, pumpkins are lovely natural ingredients for anybody looking for a healthier glow!
Busy working women may afford beauty luxuries including expensive spa treatments, but sometimes, we know you just don’t have the time to do it all. And sometimes, you get tired of spending so much for beauty’s sake.
The skin problems we commonly encounter are usually the same: enlarged pores, scars caused by acne, hyper-pigmentation and uneven skin tones.
There are numerous possible causes for our skin to become dull and blah and oily, so it’s extremely
important to carry out a routine of cleansing.
Facials and Masks
The purpose of facials is not just meant to cleanse and minimize pores. Other kinds of facials are done specifically to help in healing scars caused by acne, minimize hyper-pigmentation and brighten skin tones.
Today’s recipe uses an unlikely facial ingredient — pumpkins, which makes a great and natural alternative for clay masks because of its thick consistency. And here’s the best part: pumpkins are loaded with Vitamin A, C and Zinc — all amazing, nourishing ingredients for our skin! It’s all natural and healthy – you can never go wrong with that!
Cinnamon is also an interesting ingredient of this facial. Cinnamon makes me think of those wonderful smelling cinnamon buns at the mall, but for beauty purposes, cinnamon is an antioxidant, and contains essential oils that have antimicrobial properties. With honey and milk, this facial mask not only softens and smoothes skin — it also helps get rid of excess oil!
This pumpkin mask is a fabulous way to get an instant glow that smells great! Enjoy!
