How to make a floral perfume at home.
My recipe is:
- 1 cup water
- Some rose petals (or any other scented flower) chopped up (about 2-3 flowers)
- A little rosemary (1 tsp dried)
- 1 teaspoon of vodka
- 2 teaspoons of oil (jojoba, vegetable, or almond)
Bring the water to a boil, and then put in the oil, then the roses. Once the roses are starting to lose their color and scent, pick up the pan and pour it into a cool bowl.
After when its in the cool bowl put in the vodka and rosemary. A few hours later take out all of the things you have put in and your perfume will be in that cool bowl!
Is it the alcohol that stops the water from going off?
