This homemade foot scrub will leave your feet feeling soft and smooth. The rosemary disinfects, the peppermint helps with circulation and the salt removes dirt and toxins while being a good base for a scrubbing agent.
Peppermint & Rosemary Foot Scrub
This recipe makes enough for 3 scrubs.
- 1 cup of sea salt
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of dried peppermint finely crushed
- 2 tablespoons of dried rosemary
In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients then pour the olive oil over the herbs. Mix thoroughly.
Soak your feet for a minute in warm water then while they are wet, take a handful of the scrub and massage it into your feet. Use circular motions with the heel, long strokes along the length of your feet. Massage your ankles as well.
Take your time doing your foot scrub, enjoy the smell of the herbs while massaging your feet.
Rinse your feet off with warm water then pat dry.
Store extra in a clean, small mason jar or container.
