Delicious homemade chocolate chip muffins. This recipe can also be converted to make raisin or blueberry muffins simply by replacing the chocolate chips with your favorite fruit.
Chocolate Chip Muffins
– Makes 12
- 2 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix all the dry ingredients into a bowl, add the milk and vanilla then coat the dry mixture but don’t over stir, add the softened butter and mix well.
Spray your muffin tray with oil spray or rub down with butter. You can also use paper muffin liners. Fill each cup 2/3 full.
Heat oven to 375 degrees F, cook for 18-20 minutes. Let it cool for 5 minutes.
