Homemade Fruit Pops

Homemade Fruit Pops

How to make a healthy summer treat, a fruit Popsicle.  Easy to make, and a great way to get the kids involved in making them. Young or old, its a wonderful summer treat that all will enjoy.

You will need:

  • Fresh or frozen fruit (your choice) I used a frozen mix
  • A Popsicle container
  • Fruit juice ( your choice) I used passion fruit juice

This treat is really so simple to make but is super healthy.

Take your Popsicle container and stuff in pieces of small pieces of chopped fruit. I used frozen fruit mix so I had peaches, strawberries, purple grapes, green grapes and pineapple. You can use fresh fruit as well, add one type of fruit or mix and match like I did.

Once your containers are packed with fruit, simply pour fruit juice (of your choice) in each one right up to the top. If you have the Popsicle handles like mine then now is the time to put them into each container, otherwise insert Popsicle sticks into each one.

Making popsicles

Put into the freezer for at least 4 hours or until frozen.

To get them out of the containers, run a little hot water around the bottoms of the containers, do a little twist and they should pop out effortlessly.

A super nice treat to cool off in the summer.
