Spice up your dishes with some homemade Italian spice mix.
You will need:
- 2 tablespoons of basil
- 2 tablespoons of oregano
- 2 tablespoons of rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon thyme
Mix spices together. Put into a container with lid.
Use in any Italian dishes, or with beef, chicken, sausage, stir fries, roasted vegetables, soups, pizza dough (I use 2 tablespoons). Even tastes great mixed with garlic and butter for a herb garlic toast.
Shelf life is about 2 years if stored properly in a container with a tight fitting lid. After that its not as flavorful.
