Chocolate Peanut Clusters
These little peanut cluster bits have a flavour similar to miniature peanut chocolate bars, or perhaps a piece of heaven for chocolate aficionados! Quick and simple to prepare.
Chocolate Peanut Clusters
Makes 16 large clusters, about 32 small ones
Ingredients:
- 1 package of instant chocolate pudding mix ( I used the Kraft Jello brand but you can use your favorite brand)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup of peanuts
Directions:
In a saucepan, mix the pudding, sugar, milk, and butter.
Stirring continuously, cook mixture over medium-high heat until it reaches a full boil.
Reduce heat, then slowly boil for three minutes while stirring continuously.
Add peanuts right away after removing from the heat.
When the candy thickens, stir for about 15 minutes.
Drop teaspoonful of the candy onto waxed paper to form clusters. (I used a tablespoon for larger clusters)
Allow to cool before eating.
NOTE: Soak your pan in hot water after cooked chocolate is out, makes for an easier cleanup.
