Cooking time: 13 minutes (each batch)
Bake at 350F for a chewy cookie for 10 minutes
Bake at 350F for a firmer cookie for 13 minutes
Makes 44 medium/large cookies. (Could make more if you make your dough balls smaller. I used the size slightly smaller than a golf ball.)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 cup of butter (softened)
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of raisins
- 1/4 cup of walnut pieces
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Using your hands, mix all dry ingredients together, then add the softened butter, mix into the dry ingredients then lastly add the water and mix until it forms a soft but fairly firm dough.
Preheat the oven at 350F
On a cookie sheet, line with parchment paper (trust me, it will save you a lot of trouble, other wise if you place the cookies directly on the cookie sheet it tends to stick, still removable but its more work than you should do.)
Roll the dough into small balls, a little less than the size of a golf ball. Place on the cookie sheet.
Bake for 10-13 minutes, They should be a light golden brown for a firmer cookie.
Allow to completely cook before moving them.
Enjoy!
