How to Clean The Bathroom Step by Step
Cleaning the bathroom can be a lot of fun yet it is a dirty job. First thing first, gather all the cleaning supplies that you may need for the bathroom cleaning job. It may include soup scum remover, mildew remover, bathroom surface cleaner, window cleaning fluid, toilet bowl cleaner, dust rag, paper towel, sponge, scrub brush, and floor cleaner.
Steps of action:
First step:
Remove any dirty clothes or dirty towels and make sure that everything is in its place. I find that the hardest part of cleaning the bathroom is cleaning the shower. It is the most likely place to get a build up of soap scum and mildew if it’s not cleaned on a regular basis. So, since cleaning the shower is going to exhaust most of my energy, I like to start there. If the soap scum in the shower is really bad, you can allow the cleaner to soak for a short while before you start scrubbing it. Don’t forget about cleaning the shower curtain or the shower door plus the track. There are a lot of products that are made to clean a shower. The choice of which products to use is up to you. Rinse the shower really well with water after you have cleaned it. It just gets rid of any other loose dirt and chemicals.
Second step:
Clean the mirrors. Mirror after a hot shower would become foggy. Streaks are found on the mirrors especially after a hot shower. To remove these streaks and make a sparkling clean mirrors use some glass cleaner such as Windex. Remember to use rags to dust any shelves, moldings, door frames
and baseboards.
Third step:
Clean the sink , adjacent facets and counter tops. Just a quick tip, products meant for cleaning bathroom or kitchen surfaces work fine for cleaning the sink.
Fourth Step:
This is the dirtiest job in the bathroom … the toilet. There are several different areas of the toilet which need to be cleaned. First, clean the inside of the toilet with a regular toilet brush with a little bit of toilet bowl cleaner. Then, clean the rim of the bowl and the under part of the lid as well as the seat. Remember to clean the back of the toilet including the pedestal. A good surface cleaner will make the job a lot easier.
Fourth step: Clean the floor.
I would recommend using paper towels to clean the bathroom. There are lot of germs around the bathroom that I’d rather just use paper towel to clean them and then throw them away to the garbage bin.

Hi, do you have any tips in cleaning accessories in the bathroom like jars? Do you have any cleaning agent that you can suggests?
Hello! Yes, I can definitely help you with that.
To clean accessories like jars in the bathroom, first, you must empty them of any contents. Then, use a gentle dishwashing soap and warm water to clean the inside and outside of the jar. For tough stains or residue, you can use baking soda mixed with water to form a paste and scrub gently with a soft sponge or brush.
If you want to disinfect the jars, you can mix equal parts of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spritz the jars. Let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water and let it air dry.
Be sure to avoid using harsh abrasives or chemicals that may damage the surface of the jars. Good luck and happy cleaning!
Useful tips i will follow all the steps given thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I’m glad you found the tips useful. Following these steps can really help keep your bathroom clean and fresh.
Hi what is your opinion regarding using aerated drinks for cleaning toilets. Have seen few videos regarding it on Youtube
While it may seem interesting, using aerated drinks like soda to clean toilets is not advisable. These drinks contain high levels of sugar and acidic properties, which may cause damage to the toilet bowl, pipes, or septic system over time. It’s always best to stick to designated cleaning products that are specifically designed for toilets to ensure effective cleaning without any potential harm.
