Clarify Your Hair
An inexpensive way to clarify your hair is to use your usual shampoo, during the first lather, take a handful of baking soda and work it into the lather thoroughly.
Let it set for a few minutes, depending on how much styling buildup you have on your hair. Rinse and shampoo again without baking soda, then condition.
The baking soda makes an excellent chelating aid. It is also advisable to clarify at least every two weeks to remove product buildup.
Always clarify before doing a deep conditioning treatment. Otherwise you will be conditioning over product buildup which really won’t be beneficial.
Chelating also removes trace buildup of prescription drugs that buildup in your hair.
Treat yourself to a scalp massage, this facilitates healthy hair growth by stimulating the blood supply to you scalp.
Remember to keep your face muscles relaxed throughout the day. A quick restart would be to first, clench face muscles tight and hold for 10 seconds, then release. Your face will feel much more relaxed. This technique also works on all muscle parts of the body.
Effective Facial Cleanser
If you have oily skin, lots of blackheads or rough skin on your face try something old to come up with a new face.
If you will purchase Lava soap and rub it onto a warm wet wash cloth and gently rub your face, the pumice in the soap will scrub off rough skin, allow embedded dirt to come to the surface and make your skin soft. At first, your face may be more broken out as it has taken a long time for your face to reach the condition that it’s in. This method is similar to a Dermatologist’s micro-dermabrasion, but it’s really cheap. Rinse your face well, and pat it dry.
Caution: Don’t rub too hard until you’ve tried this gently, as you may make your face red, and mildly sore. This soap is called Lava for a reason. If you don’t believe what I’ve told you, try washing half your face your regular way, and the other half with Lava. I’m sure you’ll like the results.
